5 Day Chimpanzee And Gorilla Trekking Uganda Safari Luxury
You will be welcomed by our driver-guide at Entebbe International
Airport or your hotel in Kampala to begin your journey to western
uganda through lush countryside, small towns, and tea
plantations. The drive will takes about 5–6 hours with scenic stops
for photos and lunch en route. You will arrive in Kibale Forest
National Park, check into your lodge, and relax as you prepare for
the adventure ahead.

After an early breakfast, head to Kanyanchu Visitor Center for a
briefing before your chimpanzee trek. Accompanied by rangers,
you’ll track and spend an hour observing chimpanzees,listening to
their calls, watching them swing through the trees, and noting their
social behavior. Return for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon,
enjoy a cultural experience at Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary or nearby
villages, learning about local traditions, farming, and crafts.

You will have chilled morning breakfast and set off for a drive to
Bwindi impenetrable National Park which is about 7–8 hours.You
will have a Stop en route for lunch and photography then continue
to the park check in the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast you will head to the parks headquarters for
briefing,before you trek through the dense rainforest to find one of
Bwindi’s gorilla families. The hike can take 2–6 hours, depending
on the gorillas’ movements. Once a gorilla family is located, you
will spend a magical hour watching them feed, play, and interact.
Then return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon,
you will visit the Batwa community—forest’s original dwellers—for
cultural dances, storytelling, and insight into their traditional
lifestyle. Return back to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Enjoy your morning breakfast before beginning your return journey
(8–9 hours). Travel through rolling hills and plantations, with a
lunch stop en route. Stop at the Equator for photos and souvenir
shopping. Continue to Kampala or Entebbe, where you’ll be
dropped at your hotel or the airport for your onward flight.
