Day 1: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Start your journey with an early morning departure from Kampala or Entebbe, stopping at the Equator for photos before proceeding via Masaka and Mbarara, where you’ll enjoy lunch. Continue through the scenic Kabale highlands and descend to Lake Bunyonyi, a jewel of southwestern Uganda famous for its 29 islands and birdlife. Check in at your lakeside lodge and relax. In the evening, enjoy a gentle lakeside walk. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 2: Batwa Cultural Experience, Swimming & Afternoon Cruise

After breakfast, head for an immersive Batwa cultural encounter. Meet this indigenous community, listen to their stories, experience traditional dances, and learn about their unique forest survival skills, followed by swimming in the bilharzia-free waters of Lake Bunyonyi. The refreshing swim is complemented by spectacular views of the surrounding terraced hills.Return to the lodge for lunch, In the afternoon, embark on a scenic boat cruise to explore Punishment Island, Bwama Island, and other historic sites while bird watching. End the day with a lakeside dinner and overnight stay, reflecting on the blend of culture and nature.

Day 3: Departure
